- An active agent or agency is a broker with at least one active listing (for sale or for rent) on a public property portal. Private sellers listing their own home are not counted.
- How often is the data updated?
- The census updates daily from public listings; the monthly figure is that month’s latest reading. The table above shows the month-by-month trend.
- Why does this number differ from other estimates?
- We count brokers who are genuinely active — those with listings right now — not everyone who ever registered as an agent. That makes the number smaller but reflects real market activity.
- May I cite this data?

Methodology
Active agent / agency = a broker with at least one active listing (for sale or for rent) on a public property portal. The census excludes private sellers (people listing their own home), buyer requests, and non-agents (auction sites, municipalities). The same agent across several portals is counted once, and the census updates daily — the monthly value is the month's latest reading. Freely reusable with attribution to leiamaakler.ee.
